The Nevada FFA Foundation was created in 1975 as a nonprofit service organization dedicated to the promotion of agricultural education and career development in Nevada. The foundation supports the Nevada FFA Association and helps it fulfill its mission by offering financial resources for the education sector, benefiting students in their personal and professional growth.
Since its establishment, sponsors and partners have been helping the Nevada FFA Foundation provide activities and awards in agriculture education. The foundation also organizes fundraisers, which typically involve sporting clay shooting activities in the cities of Eureka and Gardnerville.
Anyone can support aspiring students in Nevada by donating to the Foundation’s general fund or making a long-term donation. For the latter, the Nevada FFA Foundation accepts life insurance bequests, life-share gifts, and estate gifts. Donating to the endowment/scholarship fund is also possible, with this long-term investment generating interest income for future FFA activities. The investment goal for the endowment fund is $1 million.
